Battery Braided Earth Straps
Our round earth straps are widely used as battery earth straps on automotive applications such as cars, tractors, motorbikes, buses etc. They connect the vehicles battery to the vehicle bodywork /chassis etc. They are a key component in the vehicles electrical system.
They are also excellent “drop in” replacements for the retro look when restoring vintage vehicles.
Our straps come supplied with a universal battery clamp that will fit onto the vehicle battery on either the Positive or Negative standard round battery post, and with a M8 (5/16) ring terminal fitted the other end.
We can fit other sizes of ring terminals and make longer leads if required as a special order.
Application – Automotive & similar applications
Construction – Round tinned copper braid with 16/16/0.3 conductors
19mm² approx = 120 Amp approx
Cable O/D is approx 8mm
Volts – 6V, 12V, 24V, 48V
